Education and Training

The Oxford Biomedical Research Centre is committed to supporting existing and potential translational researchers. We currently supports over 50 Training Fellows across all research themes.

In 2009 we have established clinical research fellowship in collaboration with a local charitable committee (the Oxford Health Services Research Committee). These fellows, and other research fellows supported on specific projects within the research Themes, will be mentored through structured involvement in the Academic Medical Forum system established through the Walport schemes and other externally funded PhD fellowship schemes, for example those supported by the Wellcome Trust and MRC.
