Manor House John Radcliffe HospitalThe OUH Trust Research and Development team support and facilitate researchers to undertake high quality research, and to provide research governance to ensure the interests of participants, researchers and the Trust are protected through adherence to the local and national regulatory frameworks. They work closely with researchers from Oxford University and the Oxford University Clinical Trials and Research Governance team.
The University of Oxford Clinical Trials and Research Governance (CTRG) team was set up in 2006 to help researchers planning any studies involving human subjects. The team is based at Manor House within the John Radcliffe Hospital site. CTRG maintain a database of all University sponsored clinical research studies to facilitate compliance with the applicable governance and/or regulations. Clinical research is any research involving human subjects or tissues, including healthy volunteers

Thames Valley Comprehensive Local Research Network (CLRN) is one of 25 CLRNs across England which form part of the NIHR Comprehensive Clinical Research Network (CCRN). CCRN provides support for clinical trials and other well designed studies in all areas of disease and clinical need
Research Design Service South Central is part of the infrastructure of the National Institute for Health Research. The RDS South Central is one of several regional services around the country making up the national RDS. The RDS exists to provide help to people preparing research proposals for submission to peer-reviewed funding competitions for applied health or social care research. The RDS essentially consists of a team of people based in universities and the NHS across the South West, able to advise and provide practical support when you are developing your grant application.
