Oxford Pathology Series - Autumn 2012 Meeting
Oxford Pathology Series - Autumn 2012 Meeting
Head and Neck or Gynaecological Pathology
Fri 21 to Sun 23 September 2012
Wadham College, Oxford, UK.
Held in Wadham College, a traditional University of Oxford College, the Autumn 2012 Oxford Pathology Series Meeting combines updates on recent developments with a diagnostic approach. The programme consists of two separate courses covering selected topics in Head and Neck or Gynaecological pathology. Each course’s format will consist of talks, by experienced international recognised pathologists, alongside interactive opportunities to discuss practical problems during slide seminars and during interactive sessions. Digital images of slides used for slide seminars will be available for online review prior to the meeting. The entire proceedings will be available to each registrant on a memory stick. There are also a number of opportunities to network with colleagues across both courses.
The meeting content has been planned to address practical issues in Head and Neck or Gynaecological pathology and would benefit both practicing and senior trainee pathologists with an interest in these fields. Each course carries the Royal College of Pathologists CPD accreditation for 15 hours. This meeting will run over a weekend to minimise disruption to clinical work and study leave utilisation.
The meeting costs £420 including course proceedings plus Wine Reception and Formal Dinner. Accommodation is not included. Places are limited, 50 Head and Neck places and 30 Gynaecological places, so early registration through the online registration form is recommended. For further information please contact Prof Runjan Chetty (Runjan.Chetty@orh.nhs.uk).
Future meetings are planned for;
Spring 2013 – Haematopathology / Bone & Soft Tissue.
Autumn 2013 – Endocrine Pathology / Breast Pathology.
