Michael Hocken
Michael Hocken lives at Delly End, near Witney. He started his professional life as a conference interpreter, before becoming Secretary-General of the European Civil Service Federation (a staff association representing European civil servants). He was then appointed as Head of Personnel and Administration in the new Directorate-General for Justice and Home Affairs at the European Commission. He has been a member of the OUH Public & Patient Panel for the past 6 years, and was recently selected to join the Royal College of Pathologists' Lay Advisory Committee. He also sits as a JP on the Southern Oxfordshire Bench."
