Elaine Strachan-Hall

Elaine has ten years experience as a nurse director and was appointed to the Trust in February 2007. She is a cardiothoracic nurse with general management experience in medicine. She has a Masters degree in nursing (from Brunel University) and in business administration (from Cranfield University) and was awarded a leadership scholarship from the Florence Nightingale Foundation in 2007.
Her role encompasses the leadership of nursing, midwifery, allied health professional and health care scientist workforce (approximately 5500 staff). She is also Executive lead for Quality, Clinical Governance and Health and Safety including Complaints, PALS, Legal Services and Chaplaincy, Patient and public involvement.
