Myeloid Disease

Leukaemia is the most commonest cancer in children and the twelfth most cancer in adults. In adults it is more common as people grow older and in an aging population it is becoming more frequent. It can be quite aggressive but the outlook has improved over the years with advances in our understanding translating, slowly but surely, into better treatments.

Oxford's contribution to this progress in the past, present and some of our plans for the future is discussed.
