Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology

This subtheme concentrates on the neuroimmunology of multiple sclerosis, encephalopathies and related disorders.

The aim is to improve the diagnosis and examine treatment responses in these immune-mediated conditions.

The main areas of interest are in the development of new methodologies in antibody measurement particularly for aquaporin-4 in neuromyelitis and the measurement of MRI markers of neurodegeneration.
