Tissue Banking & Cohorts Theme

The Tissue Banking and Cohorts (TB&C) theme supports the collection, analysis and research utilising specific disease and control cohorts as well as biosamples. The theme enables and facilitates translational research through infrastructure and operational support plus access to a variety of subject matter experts.

Theme Leader: Prof Runjan Chetty

Programme Director: James Shepherd

The theme is made up of a variety of sub themes. These consist of i) specific diseases cohorts, ii) biorespositories and collections underpinning wider research, and iii) enabling support staff and services enabling these functional areas.
