Vaccines Theme
The Vaccines theme is divided into two main areas, Adult and Paediatric vaccines. Adult vaccines include the development of new vectored vaccines against tuberculosis, malaria, influenza and hepatitis C. Paediatric vaccines team works towards the goal of developing new and improved vaccines for the prevention of infection in children, enhancing the understanding of immunity and studying the epidemiology of infectious diseases including development and optimization of vaccines against pneumococcal and meningococcal disease and hepatitis B.
