Hep C

The vaccines being tested are two adenoviral vectors, one derived from a human adenovirus Ad6 the other from a chimpanzee adenovirus AdC3.  Both encode the same internal antigens (NS3-NS5) on HCV, known as NSmut, and both were manufactured at the Clinical Biomanufacturing Facility (CBF) at the Churchill Hospital.  Vaccinations started in Q4 2008. Initial safety and immunogenicity data with each vector look encouraging.
